By Tony Edike ENUGU- CATHOLIC Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Rt. Rev Matthew Hassan Kukah, yesterday, blamed the increasing wave of insurgency in the country on what he described as conspiracy of silence and break down of societal surveillance.

An organ of the AU has reportedly urged a boycott of the EU-AU summit scheduled for next week in Brussels to protest what is seen as a "dictation" by the EU on who is eligible to attend the meeting.
